Shivaratri 2014 is on February 27, Thursday

Auspicious festival of Mahashivaratri falls on the 13th or the 14th night of the new moon during Krishna Paksha in the Hindu month of Phalgun. The Sanskrit term, Krishna Paksha means the period of waning moon or the dark fortnight and Phalguna corresponds to the month of February - March in English Calendar. Shivaratri Festival is celebrated on a moonless night.

According to Hindu mythology, Shivaratri or 'Shiva's Great Night' symbolizes the wedding day of Lord Shiva and Parvati. Many however, believe, Shivaratri is the night when Lord Shiva performed the Tandava Nritya - the dance of primordial creation, preservation and destruction. Celebrating the festival in a customary manner, devotees give a ritual bath to the Lingam with the panchagavya - milk, sour milk, urine, butter and dung. Celebrations of Shivaratri Festival mainly take place at night. Devotees of Lord Shiva throng Shiva temples across the country and spend ‘the Night of Lord Shiva’ by chanting verses and hymns in praise of the Lord. The festival holds special meaning for the ladies. They pray to Goddess Parvati also called 'Gaura', the giver of 'suhag' for good husbands, marital bliss and a long and prosperous married life.

The main Republic Day celebration is held in the national capital, New Delhi, at the Rajpath before the President of India. On this day, ceremonious parades take place at the Rajpath, which are performed as a tribute to India.

Rules and Regulations
 
1.) The players should form a team with 4 followers and one leader in order to participate in the Game.
2.) No Foul language , Criticism or pulling legs on the opponent team. Respect your team members and your opponent team members.
3.) Whoever answers first on the Host's screen matters and will get the point ( ROOM TEXT CAM WILL BE ACTIVATED)
4.) Only one participant from each team is allowed to answer one question at a time. That means TWO PLAYERS ( ONE from each team)
5.) Whenever the question is asked by the host every person's room text will be disabled (REDDOT)
6.) Only the two players are allowed to type the answer in the main room. The Team Leader will set the PLAYER ORDER (PO)
7.) In Round 3 if you are unable to answer the question in less time and taking so much time , the host will be unreddoting the audience and they may steal your points.
8.) If you're disconnected before asking the question , you will be given one more chance. If repeats penalty 5 points will be taken.
9.) If you're disconnected after asking the question and if your opponent team mate answers correctly in time He/She will get the points. If not means the round will still continue with the remaining questions.
10.) The team players are requested to make a Super IM (Non-Voice) also called as Conference PM or Confy ( Pal Slang).
